It doesn’t take much…

by Sharon on September 29, 2010

A few weeks back, I shared a photo of my family when we were all gathered together for a party. Remember?

It was a total blast, except for one little problem; when I looked at the pictures of me, I see this…

Bummer.

But I resolved to make some changes.

I took this…

And this…

And I said ‘bye bye’ to this (boo hoo)

And today, the jeans that were a little too tight last month fit perfectly.

(Actually, I think they were a little bit baggy!)

I guess it doesn’t take much to make me happy huh? ‘Cause Baggy Jeans brought me a lot of joy today!

Good, True & Beautiful

That’s awesome! :) I think you were beautiful before . . . but I’m glad you’ve had success. :) I’m trying to lose weight right now and it is an uphill battle, let me tell ya. :)

I like the South Beach diet — especially because then I don’t have to figure out what we’re having for dinner! It just tells me what to cook. (although, it is $$ — lots and lots of veggies).

Wooohoooo!! Love loose jeans! Good job, but sorry about your chocolate ice cream loss. It’ll be a while ’til I experience the whole baggy pants thing so I’ll just enjoy your success with you.

Let me know how you like the whole South Beach Thing. I might have to look into it. At the rate I’m gaining, this baby’s going to be twenty pounds when he/she is born. Oh dear.

PS How’s the potty-training going?

That is awesome!!! Great job!!

I’ve been trying to lose weight for the past 4 years. It’s so hard, and the worst thing is having a closet full of pants and not fitting into them, ugh!

I am jealous of your baggy jeans. Thanks for the motivation. I need it now that I have a 2 month old I guess the baby weight needs to come off. :)

BTW I have a photo EXACTLY like the potty one below from when I made my first attempt at potty training my twin sons. It must just “make sense” to use that to store little people. :)

The first photo made you look nothing like the second photo. But it’s always fun to have those jeans fit a little looser! Way to go. But giving up the ice cream? There’s got to be a better way!
Peace and blessings to your day.

Baggy jeans of the right size number would make me happy. Glad you had success quickly.

Yay for baggy jeans! It’s been awhile since I’ve experienced that, but rumors are that p90x is in my future.

OMG – I so need to follow your lead! BUT I also agree with the others that you looked great in photo 1 – but I completely understand. I am hoping to kick start myself next week.
