… is going to be a good one.
When I look back on my life, I’m always a bit amazed at what God has been willing to do with my weak, impatient, self-focused, little self. I know that if I was left to my own devices I would hide in the corner of my heart, sucking my thumb, complaining about the weather.
But instead God keeps giving me opportunities to wait on His perfect timing, see the power of His Mighty Hand, and realize that His ways are so much better than mine.
It makes me marvel. It makes me cry. And it overwhelms me with joy.
(I can’t go into too many details yet… but let me just say that prayers are being answered. Not necessarily in the way that I thought they would be, but in God’s perfect, wonderful, sovereign way. And that is so much better)

I can’t wait to see what God has for you.
Psalm 18:30, “As for God, his way is perfect…!”
Like you, I recognize that the answers aren’t always what I expected or even hoped for, but there is always an answer.
I’m so glad that you’re seeing something opening up to you that is wondrous!
Hmmmmmm…wondering what God has up His sleeve…or cloak…however you view Him…
There are ideas floating around in my head and I can’t wait to hear if they’re even close to what you can’t go into detail about yet. I’ll be waiting to hear when you’re ready to share
Until then…hope you’re having an awesome day! We still haven’t left for the beach…but we’ll get there soon enough.
Peace and blessings to your day!

I am so excited to hear you are getting opportunities and cannot wait to hear all about them.
I am having trouble waiting and listening to God right now – and figuring out why things happen the way they do. BUT I will work on having faith that all things happen for a reason and in the right time…
I am so happy for you!
I totally understand where you are and how excited you feel. I feel the same way about our current “season”. It is exciting to see what God is doing, daily, in regards to our move, new church, new home, etc…
I am excited for you and overjoyed that you see God’s hand in it all. I believe that is the most important part – you give God the glory and know it is His hand on your life.
Oh, can’t wait to hear! Sounds like God has something great in store for you! It is always best to trust Him no matter what – but you know that already!
Hope everything else is going well for you.
Yay for new seasons!! They’re always scary and exhilirating. It’s the ultimate Christian adrenaline rush, you know! We’re in one, too, and we’re realizing that our lives aren’t supposed to be boring. When you live in Christ, it’s the grandest of adventures.
I can’t wait to hear what He’s doing in your lives. God is good, my friend. He is good.
PS I hope your vacation was amazing and not as stinky as we all imagined it would be.
Oh you little stinker…I’m going to hold my breath until you share more details!!
God’s timing is perfect and His love and grace for each of His children is even more wonderul. Can’t wait for all the details, but am so glad that prayers are being answered according to God’s plan and purpose for your life. Glad also that you had such a fun and stinky week!
God is SO Good! Your post is awesome…I could have writtent the same things…thanks for giving words to what has been in my heart too. God is faithful even when we are not because He cannot deny Himself. I’m so glad that He’s in charge!!! Blessings to you and your answered prayer!
I can sympathize, believe me! We are still waiting for God to pen the next chapter for us as well! Glad to hear about the answered prayers!! Can’t wait to see what all He is doing for you!
Yes Gods timing is always perfect. Not that we always see that right away of course
I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to hear what HE has in store for you !!
Yeah I know this is a long time ago… but this post brought me to tears. I hate waiting, even though I know that God’s timing is ALWAYS perfect… ALWAYS! Doesn’t make it any easier though… you know that. I need to take that, seize it, and grow from it, instead of wallowing… thanks for the reminder (even a few months later).
