…I forgot that today is Thursday.
And on Thursday, I have a little party ’round these parts. Ya know, just for the JOY of it.
Oh course, I have excuses… vacation is a great time to think of excuses.
But mostly, I just forgot. As in
“oh my goodness, it never even entered my mind that Wednesday comes before Thursday, and on Thursday I’m supposed to do something but maybe I’ll just eat this chocolate cake and take a nap and go to the lake and eat some fried chicken and laugh at the nieces and give the little guy a bath and go to bed early.”
I guess that means my vacation is working (and I might need to copy Erin’s Mission Statement)

Vacationing is not failing, and neither is relaxing.

there’s a good mission statement for a vacation. Even in Latin for you.
Have fun on your vacay!
Good for you!!! Enjoy and forget about the daily stuff. You will be proud to know I just spent the last hour reading my WordPress In Depth book. Oh yea, that was some fun reading. Not sure I really learned anything. But I am trying. LOL!
So glad you are enjoying your vacation! Although we miss you and can’t wait to see you next week at mom2mom (you’ll be there right?? It’s at Stacy’s.) Wishing you safe travels on your return and can’t wait to hear the details of your vacation.
Vacation can bring much JOY! EnJOY it!
The JOY is that you are having such a wonderful time you forgot about your weekly post. And to that I say, “GOOD FOR YOU!” Happy to hear that vacation is causing you to “leave it all behind” and enjoy the moments and the memories.
Just wondering…how stinky is it ’round your parts?
Peace and blessings to your day!

Hi Sharon!
It’s been a while since I’ve been around these parts — I’ve missed you! Glad to be back…and glad to hear it sounds like you are having a perfect vacation — especially those parts about chocolate cake and nap and fried chicken and going to bed early!
I’ll be back soon for Just for the Joy of It…but just wanted to say hi for now.
