Because it is really, really HOT in New York this week…
Because we don’t have air conditioning…
And because I really like my Mom’s cooking…
I headed south to my parent’s house…
I love them.
And they have a swimming pool.
Could you blame me?

I seriously laughed out loud when I saw this picture! And just when I thought he couldn’t get any cuter. He definitely looks like he’s ready for the pool. I bet your parents are glad for ANY reason to see you guys!
As far as the heat, I’m super sorry about that. At least here, we have air conditioning, even though it will be running for the next five months. So not kidding. Just remember this when you’re tired of all the snow and cold come February.
Well, we always think about how hot it is in Texas but we have our air conditioners. It makes a huge difference, doesn’t it? I am headed to Angel Fire, NM….Rocky Mountains….and we have no AC there. Gets down to 30′s at night but in the heat of the day….it gets hot in the house. Swimming is the way to go….and hang on for a couple more months.
You’re going to laugh because my friend Remington was wearing the same outfit- minus the goggles.
The heat is getting to me too. I was going to swear off thrift shopping for a couple weeks. However the charity shop has ac and my farm does not.
