BIG Savings on Photoshop for Teachers and Students (homeschoolers too!)

Adobe Education Store

If you are a teacher, student or homeschooling family and are looking for a way to save on Photoshop, here is some GREAT news for you.

Adobe, the maker of Photoshop (and many other products that I like to drool over), gives students and educators an EIGHTY PERCENT DISCOUNT!*

Be still my heart.

Of course, if you’re thinking about the purchase, but you aren’t quite sure, you could take advantage of Adobe’s 30 day free trial offer. What’s there to lose, right?

(although you might fall in love with Photoshop during this thirty days of free access… so start saving up your pennies now. It could happen to anyone. Even me. blush, blush)

On top of all this good news, two of my favorite learning resources are offering great deals right now…

E-Photo Pros makes their entire video library available for free on Mondays.

And Jessica Sprague is offering Photoshop Fridays each week (she’s a digital scrapbookin’ queen, but even if you’re not a scrapper, you will learn TONS from her). They are super affordable too.

In summary, great discounts to save on Photoshop, free trials and awesome learning resources….

You can thank me later.

*Sorry for yelling, but it’s these little perks that make me think homeschooling is definitely in my future. Of course, if I’m the person primarily responsible for the education of my Little Man, I probably won’t have much time left for Photoshop. But that’s a whole ‘nother story.

Just thought I’d mention that if you do purchase the educational version that you cannot use the program for profits (ie, digital design, photography, etc). I didn’t realize that but when I was reading the fine print it made me change my decision (my DH is eligible to purchase the educational version b/c he’s in school).

That is awesome! I know my husband is going to be thrilled! As a homeschooler what proof of eligibility do we have to submit? I didn’t see homeschoolers specifically listed so I wasn’t sure how to go about proving that we’re eligible?

@ Linds… great point. It makes perfect sense too… if you get the educational discount, they want you to use if for education!

@ Lands of Loving… I know that there is a list of questions at the bottom of the web page and that one of the answers was about proof of eligibility. If I remember correctly, you need to provide a copy of some documents.

Hope this helps!

Oh! Just thought I’d share that Amazon’s Daily Deal today is Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 8, for anyone who cannot get the educator’s discount (or would rather not so they can use it for the other purposes, too.). It’s on sale for $54.99 and there’s a $20 mail-in rebate so it’s only $34.99 after rebate!

Everything I’m reading excludes homeschoolers.
If you’ve purchased this as a home school family,
can you please share with me how you did this?
thank you!
