Your little brown-eyed boy is cute as can be. Wish I could just reach through the screen and give him a good snuggle!
Hey…btw…lovin’ my laundry soap! My mom made some, too, and she’s lovin’ it, as well! Haven’t spent a dime on laundry detergent since January! Next on my list of home-made goodies is dishwasher detergent. Have the recipe…just can’t find citric acid.
Here’s wishing you peace and simplicity in your day!

COOL! i’m glad the laundry soap is a hit. I love it too… Such a simple way to save $$$!
And I use Citric Acid for my mozzarella cheese making… you can find it in most Health Food Stores, and some pharmacies might sell it. If you’re really in a pickle try googling it and see what you can substitute for it. For example, lemon juice has a lot of citric acid in it!
I’m envious of your talents – I always think about buying photoshop, but though I have elements now I can never figure anything out! I’m just not smart enough for post processing!

Oh you totally are smart enough! But I know what you mean, it’s not a very intuitive program (meaning you can’t just figure it out without someone explaining it). I am going to pull together a post on all the great (and free) resources I’ve found around the web… and many of them are for Elements too. You’ll be amazed at what a difference it makes for your photos and your blog!
The photos of your darling boy are wonderful and I’m just using PS Elements but loving every minute of it!

When I get the chance, I’m planning to pull together a post summarizing all the GREAT (and free) resources i’ve found around the web for PS and PS Elements. Amazing how much you can learn!
You got some skills chica! Plus it helps that your lil boy is just so sweet and adorable
I have PS CS4 and I’m still trying to figure it out. Da hubbster is a huge computer nerd; he is my yoda. What are other programs you use to fine tune your pics?

If you have CS4, I’m jealous! It’s the best there is! I’m pulling together a post on PS resources that i’ve found to be really helpful.. There are TONS of great tutorials out there!
I also have Lightroom, although I’m not very skilled in it yet. I need a few more hours in the day to get to all my things I want to learn!
I love that even through all the edits you didn’t lose the little boy cowlick!
Still working on learning my PS Elements. Just need a few more hours in the day…

Yup … I love Photoshop too (though I’m still using PSE 6 at the moment). In the Adult School classes we’ve used PSE7 and are currently using PSE8 … and I’m THINKING about upgrading eventually but hear that PSE9 will be out in the Fall so I may wait until then … just because.
Hugs and blessings,
