Wanna Win $100?

by Sharon on February 5, 2010

Welcome to the new home of Good, True & Beautiful! We’re now hanging out at WordPress and I’m happy to say that I made the move without break the internet.

WooHoo!

In celebration of these new digs (and to mark my one year ‘blogging anniversary’), I have a question for you…

How would you like to win a $100 Visa Gift Card?

a one hundred dollar bill

Interested? You could use it on anything your little heart desires…

Day at the Spa?

Fancy Dinner with your Hubby?

A special treat for the kiddos?

A New car? {well, maybe a new front tire!}

Whatever you’re interested in doing, it is totally up to you… ‘Cause I have a $100 Visa Gift Card that I’m planning to giveaway this week!
Not only that, but each day from Monday through Friday, I’ll have an EXTRA giveaway going on. I’ve lined up some pretty outstanding treats and I promise, you won’t want to miss any of them.

So let’s get started…

Would you like to win a $100 Visa Gift Card? Here’s what you can do…

1). Leave me a comment and tell me what you would do win the money if you win.

2). Subscribe to receive updates either by email, RSS or by following in the Google Reader. Then leave a comment saying you’ve done so. (If you’re already a subscriber/follower just leave a comment saying that).

3). Follow me on Twitter and then send out this tweet {WooHooo! I’ve entered to WIN a $100 Visa Gift Card and you can too http://bit.ly/win100 @gtbsharon #giveaway ends 2/13!} You can do this once per day – just leave a new comment for each tweet!

4). Post about this giveaway on your blog with a link back to Good, True & Beautiful. Then leave a comment telling me you’ve done so!

5). Share this information on your Facebook Wall. Oops! Katie brought to my attention that this is a no no. I will honor the previous entries, but to avoid Facebook’s wrath, I’ve come up with a new #5… (and thanks for watchin’ my back Katie!)

5). Tell me what you like about this blog (other than the fact that I’m offering to give you a $100) and anything that you would change to make it better (see Mr. Facebook Police? I’m a reformed violator.)

BONUS! keep an eye out for more giveaways this week… with MORE WAYS to win this $100 Visa Gift Card!

The winner will be selected using Random.org on Saturday, February 13th.

This giveaway is now closed!

I would use this money to help with a household project…either to help replace moldy windows, or our broken dishwasher, or a double stroller. Then again I might just go crazy on a shopping spree to buy new shoes and a purse for myself. But common sense would prevail (because I hate shopping for myself) and I would use it to buy groceries so we could have some “extras” like fun cereal or strawberries or 2% milk. This was really insightful to think about. Thanks. :)

Do I automatically win if I tell you that the next time I go to Paris (which looks like it will be in early April) you are MORE THAN welcome to come along? You’d have to put up with a bit of Disneyland Paris, but I promise we’d also hit all my favorite Paris spots.
But seriously…
because I cannot use US Dollars here, if I were to win the 100US$ Visa card I would likely give it to a dear friend in the States who is having a really rough financial time of it right now. It might just lift her spirits a bit.
I’m linking to you on my blog – will post in the morning my time.
I’m not Twittering…yet…

It’s silly, but the pots and pans I use now belonged to my husband’s ex-wife..he got them when they divorced. We’ve been married for 15 years now and we’re still using them. There’s a part of me that feels like those are “hers” and I want a set of my own pots and pans. If I win, I’m retiring those pots and buying a set of my own…I was looking at a set of Paula Dean pots and pans the other day at Target and I’d really like those.
