Faith.
Wondering how far the fall is going to be.
Hope.
Hoping that God is still there to catch you.
Love.
How are we to know that the floor is just two inches below our toes?
These three, but the greatest is Love
(I suppose other moms wouldn’t have let their son hang off the edge of the hotel bed for three minutes why they ponder the symbolism of life’s little moments. Poor Little Guy)

The words you put with the picture complete it. Truly.
thanks Angie. I’m just glad he isn’t playing with my camera (yet!)
Wah so cute! Hang in there little buddy!
exactly! hee hee hee!
He is so cute…how did he stay balanced? LOL!!
i know. And I’m not exaggerating when i said it was three minutes. He was getting desperate!
Cute cute cute!
smiles
I had to smile big at this! I probably would’ve let my kid hang long enough for me to get a good photo. Wait! I have done that!
Oh Good! I’m not the only one!
Awww, sweet boy. But you knew he was ok and sometimes it is best to let them learn on their own. Or at least that is what my husband keeps telling me.
Besides, sometimes we have to fall so that we can be caught. I can ponder too.
Oh Jennifer, you are so right!
aww how CÜTE…?
I have a 2 yr old and I used to let him hang on for a while too…jejeje? but now he know the floor is just right there…?
I loved your words that came with the pic…?
I guess it’s just one of those fun little quirks of toddlerhood, huh? But oh, what a fun stage it is!!
LOL! A true mommy blogger.
Well, the picture is absolutely adorable and as for the thoughts – well, I am pretty blown away. That is incredibly powerful. Thanks for it.
I love the picture. I’ve seen my own children sleeping in the weirdest positions also including the dinner table, potty, and all sorts of strange positions. So, don’t feel bad. I’m thankful that they’re so content that they can do that. If they didn’t feel safe and content they’d be hiding somewhere like a closet or something.
my 2 year old grandson looks kind of like that — I mean you always see his back side running away from you preparing to get into something or climbing something.
Now that he is out of diapers he can climb much faster. Its scary.
Very well said. But I guess he is trusting you. He is so adorable by the way!
Great photo and words.
My WW link for you
How cute!!! They fall asleep in the strangest places! My step-son is notorious for this. He fell asleep while getting his hair cut (I had to hold his head until the lady was done) and he fell asleep in his macaroni and cheese, face first!
That is just an adorable photo!
Cute shot and thoughtful words though…that is for sure.
Beautiful expressed and illustrated.
So glad you found me so I could find you, Sharon. What a gorgeous place you have here. Following your blog,
Genny
So brave!
hahaha. That’s hilarious! Last week I let my DS dangle on the edge of a toy bin he was falling into so I could snap a picture… I think it’s a photographer thing
so adorable!!!
That’s cute. I love the thoughts below as well. Very eloquent and well-put.
I love this post, I have a necklace with love, faith, hope on it!
What a great shot! So cute!
Aww that is too cute!
