Have you ever noticed how simple things can be so pretty?
I made this sun catcher for Nature Boy this Christmas.
It’s just slices of tangerines that I baked in the oven for 3 hours at 200. Then I tied them up with some burlap string and hung it in the kitchen window.
Simple, easy, but oh so pretty.
(not to mention affordable)
After I took the Christmas Tree down last month, I tied together our strings of cranberry and added them to the windows in our family room.
Just a simple string of cranberries adds a dash of color in the bleak mid winter.
Simple and Lovely.
Two of my favorite things – that works for me!

Very cool!
Gorgeous! What a wonderfully simply, yet amazingly beautiful idea. I think I need to oranges and cranberries.
How fun, I am going to have to try the orange slice one. Amazing.
I think you summed it up with those two words: simple and lovely. Definitely going to try this one!
Lovely. Simple is best for me for sure.
You have a really nice home. And it is the simply things in life that make it lovely!! Well written!

I bet your house smelled so amazing as the oranges were baking!
I love the tangerine idea! Looks very warming!
I love using orange (or tangerines) for decorations. They look good and smell yummy (even after the "baking")! What a great idea Sharon, to string up the tangerines and cranberries for window decor!
BEAUTIFUL!
Absolutely love it! My windows are high enough that the pets can not reach it!
Love the tangerine idea! Something about those and oranges that make me smile just from looking at them
I really like the orange slice! Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
