Just when I thought I was getting better at PhotoShop the great ladies at I ? Faces throw this challenging picture at us…
…and I once again realize - I am very much a newbie!
My biggest challenge was to figure out how to emphasize the drama of the face without losing all of the wonderful story…
I tried this…
I tried this…
But ultimately I settled on this…
What do you think - version 1, 2 or 3?
Any tips on what I could have done better?

I really like the first version. The color looks great and you kept the action of the shot. Great job!
I like # 3, looks for me much better.
Have a great weekend.
it looks like we had a similar take with your first version. i prefer the cropped in versions and the contrast you've added to the dirt flying everywhere really brings out the drama!
LOved the first… I had a hard time with this one.. Yourocked it!

I like #1 the best but they are all better than anything I could do.
I'm all about closeups…probably because I'm not very good at shooting them! So, I opt for #2…that guy's expression is priceless. Listen, I also wanted to thank you soooooooo much for stopping by on my Special SITS Day. It’s taken me a while to get back, but I hope to see you around the blogosphere again soon!

The last one is my favorite! I love that you can see the determination in his face in your crop, but I think the dirt flying does EVERYTHING for this p hot!
great job on all of them, but i do prefer your last edit!
#2, the look on his face is so clear!
I like no 1.. it encompasses more of the scene, more drama, more effect .. I'm no professional ..I just know what I like…
Just visiting
