I use brown paper for wrapping my gifts too. I love that it is all-occasion and gender-neutral.

We've used brown paper before and I let my kids use red and green paint to decorate it. It was a hit with everyone! The grandmas couldn't bear to throw out their wrapping paper art work and I was happy with the price.

I love the way it looks plain with raffia bows tied on it. I'll have to try it with the pine sprigs. Great idea.
