I spent last week with with my husbands’ family, enjoying great food, laughing at old stories, and sleeping in a very lumpy double bed.
It was lovely.
Through out the week, my delightful mother-in-law (who I call Mimzie) kept bragging to all her friends about my little blog.
She would tell everyone…
“Oh, Sharon is so talented!“and I would blush politely.
“Sharon takes great pictures!“and I would meekly point to my new camera (giving credit where credit is due).
“Sharon is a great writer – so witty!” and I would demurely tuck my chin
“I don’t know where Sharon finds the time to do it all!“and I would silently thank God for nap time.
And then she would say…
“You must check out her blog, it’s called the Bold and Beautiful”
Ahhh..!
And I ask, if you were given the chance, would you have corrected her?
I mean, she’s pretty close… and what woman wouldn’t want to have their mother-in-law thinking that they were snazzy enough to be Bold and Beautiful?
And so, since discretion is the better part of valor…
To all the new friends who are stopping by at the recommendation of my sweet Mimzie in Madison, let me introduce you to my family…

That just made my day Sharon! LOL! My MIL reads my blog too. She said she checks it twice a day, morning and evening. How sweet is that? When I don't have time to blog, she would email me to make sure we are ok… the blog has been a great tool for family relationship.
As I read the Bold and Beautiful, I thought of my amazing daughter-in-law and the wonderful week we had together… then I met the very impressive family and started laughing.
I was very honored to be included in the portrait of the BOLD & BEAUTIFUL!!
