First Things First

by Sharon on October 4, 2009

Our plane landed safely on the west coast.  An uneventful trip, all things considered.  Six hours is a long time to be sitting for a 18 month old (and his thirty eight year old mother).

Despite our eagerness to see friends and continue our journey north, we had an important stop to make first.

Hello IN-N-OUT Burger.   How we missed you.  It’s been too long.

I have done my parental duty and introduced my son to the pleasures of all things IN-N-OUT.   I can now die in peace.

And please serve the double double with well-done fries at my funeral.

Dear Mister In-n-Out Burger,

I know you only have stores in California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.  But I would very much like your next store to be in Cooperstown, NY.

Would you please look into that for me?  Cooperstown is nice.  We have big pumpkins.

Sharon

PS – Pretty Please?  I would be your best friend forever.

PPS – you might want to bring some of your baseball stickers too.  They would a big hit with the non-pumpkin lovers who visit Cooperstown.

And now lovely people, if you happen to be so lucky as to have an IN-N-OUT Burger within driving distance and you have the luxury of stopping by whenever you get a hankering for greasy fried goodness, please don’t tell me. It just might be too much for my heart to bear. You can simply have a chocolate milk shake in my honor and that will be enough.

In case you don’t know the lingo, you can find the secret IN-N-OUT menu here.   Nature Boy always goes for Animal Style. He’s just that kinda guy

Oh, I was introduced to In-n-Out when my sister lived in Vegas and I can see why you had to stop right away!

we don't have In-N-Out around here. But you made me crave french fries at nine in the morning. Thanks for that. LOL
