Now, why didn’t I think of that?!

My frugal mother has been doing this for ages. She loves the cute clips but can't justify buying them when we have oodles of clothes pins!

Haha – I used to do that when we were first married and I ran out of my Twixit clips. I love it!

Thanks for your encouraging words about my running! I was thinking about changing my blog to a running blog – or not! :)

I did my 20 minute run today and am going to blog about it soon. It went really well and I didn't stop the whole 20 minutes. Yay!

Your lone sunflower is beautiful! Wish you had more too, but maybe next year! I love sunflowers! I lived in Wyoming for a summer years ago and they had TONS of wild sunflowers and they were amazing!

I always enjoy reading your blog and your recent posts are no exception! Thanks for being an inspiring, creative and funny lady!

Yep, I do that too. Have for years. I've always been so confused by the fancy "chip clips" in the stores when you could buy an entire bag of clothes pins for less.

I have a bag of those EXACT chips sitting behind me at my desk! (but my sides are brown, not blue like yours) It is being held closed with two binder clips! (it's what I had here! and, we have an over abundant supply of them!)

I've been known to use paper clips, tape, rubber bands, and just putting the bag upside down on the folded part.

I am going to order a bunch of clothes pins now just because of this post! THANK YOU!

Binder Clips work just as well. They are inexpensive and really cute these days!

huh, what a good idea! Plus my crafting self would just decorate the clothes pins on my own instead of buying fancy ones any more. Thanks for the tip!

I have been doing this for years! I use clothespins, alligator clips and even hairclips!

LOL

Sometimes the simplest solutions can be found by repurposing household objects.

My mom (thus, now me) has only ever used clothespins as chip clips! :-) My husband put a "real" chip clip thing in my stocking one year…I rarely use it. I still prefer the clothespins! :-)

By the way, thanks for the compliment on my blog update. I got my template and used the tutorials from Our Blogger Templates.

I'm excited about Mama Buzz…I hope we'll have some fun things to review!
