If you’re in Cooperstown

by Sharon on August 6, 2009

If you visit Cooperstown, NY make sure you don’t might miss one of the greatest places in the world.

No, it’s not the Baseball Hall of Fame

No, it’s not the Farmer’s Museum

No, it not the Glimmerglass Opera House

All of those things are lovely (and well worth the visit).

But if it were up to me, and I were visiting Cooperstown this summer, I would not want to miss the Ingalls Blueberry Farms.

In this little corner of heaven, there are miles and miles of blueberry bushes just waiting to be picked.

There are no thorns on blueberry bushes, so even the littlest can help with the picking.

Or, in my case, they can help with the eating.

Of course, the best way to pick blueberries is to team up with some great women who make you laugh and smile.

And then bring a picnic lunch so you can catch up some more.

I think it’s one of the best things to do in Cooperstown. Or any town for that matter!

We're not blueberry eaters, but that scenery was BEAUTIFUL! What a nice way to spend time together!

Love this post! Actually, I like all of your posts!

My third week is going good so far in my couch to 5k workouts. I have done 2 of the 3 workouts so far and do the third one on saturday. The first workout this week, I thought I was going to barf but I think I ate too close to working out since the second one (today) I felt a lot better. My shins kinda burned the whole workout but I think I just need to stretch better!

I would recommend this workout to anyone who wants to start running slowly. It is a great way to get into it slowly. In fact, if I don't feel like I can run more by next week I might repeat this week – the plan says to do so if you feel like you need to.

Thanks again for stopping by! :)

Love your pictures! Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving me a comment. I also love it when God displays His creative genius in the most everyday moments. It is such a sweet confirmation of His tender mercies and presence in the midst of the most mundane matters of mediocrity!

Stop by again and visit. Blessings.

I am so jealous that you got to go back again. The blueberries last weekend were so yummy! Bring some to Maine. Mom was bummed when I didn't bring any home. Oops!

Fighting blueberry envy. There are no blueberry patches around here. :(
