Situation: I am the mother of a 14 month old boy. He is a great eater. Raisins are a particular favorite. He eats raisins regularly (no pun intended).
Question: when a raisin has completed the entire digestive journey fully intact, has it provided any nutritional value? There seem to be an awful lot of re-hydrated grapes in the Pampers these days.
Furthermore, did said raisin count as a serving of fruit?

Ha-ha! Thanks for making me laugh!! At first I was thinking there was going to be a picture too!! Have a wonderful day! =)
Hee Hee Hee! I think I would be pushing the "family friendly blog" concept a little too far if I start showing photos of those little treasures!! Glad I spared you the horrors.
I also know about the power of re-hydrated raisins. Husband was home with the kids and caught our 20 month old daughter sticking a rasin up her nose. He stopped her of course, however, he did not know there were 3 more up that same nostril. The next morning our daughter's eye kept tearing and after examining her a bit more I was able to remove a very plump raisin from her nostril. After noticing a "dark area" with the glow of a flashlight we took her to the doctor who was able to pull two more out of her sinus. Annie was watched VERY closely while eating from then on
