It’s time to Take Advantage of the Season!

The next time you’re in the grocery store, you might want to take advantage of the new crop of fruit. This is the time to stock up – find extra space in your freezer, get out your canning supplies or plan a day to make jams and jellies!

So what fruit is a good deal? Be on the look out for strawberries, peaches, and nectarines. Plus cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon are all going to be near their seasonal low prices for the next 14 days.

A big part of saving money is buying when the prices are at their lowest — next March, you’ll be glad you did!

Definitely check out your local farmers’ market for all the wonderful veggies and fruits that are good this season.
