Sometimes it’s the simplest things that can make me happy…
My husband gave me these charming little plants called “frosty ferns” in January (we always have to be a little cautious about live plants in our house because our cats likes to eat them. The eating isn’t so bad, it’s the regurgitating that gets pretty old. For some reason these ferns aren’t interesting to them, so they are thriving).
I think it’s lovely to have plants inside as we await the arrival of spring. No need to buy fresh flowers or fancy decorations. Just the simple pleasures of the sun splashing across our table on three little fancy ferns that are completely ignored by the cats.
FYI: Frosty Ferns are in the Lycopodium family.

I wish I could see the plant up close. They look nice arranged the way you have them! The only plant our cat won’t destroy is a cactus!

Thanks Teresa. I added an “up close” photo so you can check them out. They are not prickly, really soft and low maintenance. Just need some water every few days.
I got a chuckle out of your cats and the cactus. Our felines must be related!
Liked the looks of your dining room table with the ferns. Can’t believe the cats don’t eat them. Might try them myself.
